Bio

My tutoring style focuses on encouraging curiosity and helping students become independent learners. I want students to feel comfortable asking questions, exploring different ways to solve a problem, and understanding the reasoning behind what they are learning rather than simply memorizing steps. I guide students through challenging concepts while giving them the support and confidence they need to eventually work through problems on their own. I believe a great learning environment is one where students feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes.

How would you describe your tutoring style?

What do you enjoy most about tutoring?

What I enjoy most about tutoring is seeing students start to believe in themselves and realize that they can do it.

How do you help students who feel stuck or lack confidence?

When a student feels stuck or lacks confidence, I focus on creating a supportive environment where they feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes. I provide positive feedback and recognize their effort, progress, and willingness to try.

What is a moment or outcome with a student that made you proud?

One moment that made me especially proud was when my first tutoring student told me that they were starting to enjoy physics. When we first began working together, the subject felt challenging and frustrating for them. Over time, I was able to help them better understand the concepts and approach problems with more confidence. Hearing them say that they were beginning to enjoy physics showed me that tutoring had made a difference beyond simply improving their academic performance.
