Here at Math Man Olmedo Tutoring Center we believe it is important to understand where a student is starting at. By performing an initial assessment, we can determine their areas of strength and weaknesses to create a personalized study plan. We offer both online and in center assessments for FREE!
A little more about our assessments
Assessments, both online and in center, can be taken Monday through Thursday from 4:00pm to 5:30pm.
During the assessment, parents complete a new student registration form. This form provides us with information about you and your student, the type of tutoring you are seeking, and your preferred schedule for sessions
After reviewing assessment results, our front desk staff will go over our price guide, discuss tutors’ availability, and share the curriculum options we offer as supplemental practice or as academic intervention support to pair with homework help!

Types of Assessments
Free Online Assessment
Our online assessments are conducted through Zoom. Once you schedule your appointment, you will receive a confirmation email with your Zoom link. During the assessment, we use Google Forms. When the session begins, your tutor will share a Google Form link directly in the Zoom chat for your student to complete. After the assessment, we email the full results to the email on file the same night, so you can review your child’s performance right away!
Free In Center Assessment
Our in-center assessments are completed at Math Man Olmedo Tutoring Center and are coordinated by our front desk staff. We provide paper copies of the assessment for our in center assessments. Our front desk staff will then grade the assessment in real time and go over the results with the parent and student!
