Hello, I’m Miriam Ramirez. My hometown is San Fernando, CA. My career experience includes working as a Tutor, Teaching Associate, and Math Professor. Fun fact: I’m under five feet tall!

I describe my tutoring style as engaging and friendly. I believe a strong learning environment is created when students feel comfortable asking questions while also being encouraged to share their own ideas when solving problems. I enjoy exploring the different types of math with my students and helping them see how each concept connects. I enjoy working at Math Man Olmedo Tutoring Center because I get to meet students of all different ages and help them grow in their learning. I remind my students that learning takes time and patience — just as it once took them a long time to learn to write their name, but now they can do it effortlessly. I emphasize that with persistence and continued effort, they can overcome challenges and eventually master new skills.
