Bio
I describe my tutoring style as engaging and friendly. I believe a strong learning environment is created when students feel comfortable asking questions while also being encouraged to share their own ideas when solving problems.
How would you describe your tutoring style?
I enjoy exploring the different types of math with my students and helping them see how each concept connects.
What do you enjoy most about tutoring?
How do you help students who feel stuck or lack confidence?
I remind my students that learning takes time and patience — just as it once took them a long time to learn to write their name, but now they can do it effortlessly. I emphasize that with persistence and continued effort, they can overcome challenges and eventually master new skills.
What is a moment or outcome with a student that made you proud?
When I had a student go from telling me at the beginning of a session that they weren't good at a type of math to end with them explaining how to do problems at the end.
What do you love about Math Man Olmedo Tutoring Center?
I enjoy working at Math Man Olmedo Tutoring Center because I get to meet students of all different ages and help them grow in their learning.
