Bio

I think my brain is rooted to find the most efficient and effective way to solve a problem. And in doing so, this makes it easier for students to understand and solve problems even if that includes some tricks and tips different than what they are used too. A great learning environment is one where the student feels comfortable, supported and open to make mistakes. Learning requires the freedom to be wrong without fear of judgement. I see this process as a collaborative journey where the shared goal is to ensure the student feels confident and satisfied with their understanding of the material.

How would you describe your tutoring style?

What do you enjoy most about tutoring?

I enjoy connecting with the kids and making sure they leave our establishment with new information and are content with themselves as students, sons/daughters, but more importantly as people.

How do you help students who feel stuck or lack confidence?

I think it is crucial for them to know that there is no such thing as wrong answers or "dumb" questions. Without failure there can't be progress and that's my main goal, making sure students understand that mistakes are a natural and essential part of the learning process. I want to emphasize the importance to competence and confidence so they feel empowered to keep progressing.

What is a moment or outcome with a student that made you proud?

One of my most proudest moments include when one of my students remembered a multiplication trick I taught them during a math test.

I love the community, the students, and most importantly how respectful and dedicated our tutors are. All of us want the best for our students and we thank all of our clients for giving us this responsibility.
